Why Lighthouse
The lighthouse is not a logo. It is the standard.
A fixed point you can trust in bad weather. That is what Lighthouse Electrique was built to be since 2007.
SAFETY. GUARANTEED. PERIOD.
Safety
Every job is done to the current code and the Z462 electrical safety standard. That is the whole practice, not a feature of it.
Experience
Master electrician since 2007. Residential, commercial and industrial. There are few panels in Montreal we have not seen.
Transparency
You get a clear diagnosis and a firm price before work starts. If something changes mid-job, you hear it from us first.
No shortcuts
If a fix is not safe, we do not do it. If a cheaper fix is safe, we tell you.
A few undetectable surprises came up and Noam was clear with the issue and worked hard to come to a cost effective solution where I feel some other electricians would have been quick to sell me on the idea of changing my panel at a significant cost to me.

As a Real Estate Broker in the middle of a transaction, I met Noam during an inspection that required a master electrician's expertise. I saw how he took the time to assess the problems and explain the solutions to the client … so I figured I would try him out for a job I had at my house.

Great job! I needed someone to upgrade some cable for a boiler. Lighthouse Electrique was fast to quote and also agree to work at the same time as the plumber. Correct prices, clean work. I recommend them!

Hired them to change and reposition several lights. Noam and his apprentice were very professional, punctual and tidy. Very pleased and would highly recommend!

Noam and helper came and did a great job at my house. Explained what they did and the things that they could not do (or didn't recommend doing). Recommend.

Straight answers
Before you call
Are you available at night and on weekends?
Yes. The emergency line (514) 909-3773 is answered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, in English and in French.
My whole street has no power. Should I call you?
Not yet. If your neighbours are dark too, that is a Hydro-Québec outage and they handle it at no cost to you. Check their outage map first. If only your home is affected, call us.
What does licensed and insured actually mean?
It means the Régie du bâtiment du Québec licenses us as a contractor (RBQ 8351-6120-43), the CMEQ recognizes us as master electricians, and our work is covered by insurance. You can verify the licence number on the RBQ website.
Is there a rebate for EV charger installation?
Quebec has rebate programs that can cover part of a home charging station installation. Ask us when you call and we will point you to the current program.
How do you price a job?
We diagnose first, then give you a firm price before any work starts. No surprise invoices. If we find something unexpected once the work is open, we stop and talk to you before continuing.
