What we install
From pot lights to lighting poles
Every fixture on this list is planned, wired and installed by a licensed electrician. If it plugs into a wall, you do not need us. If it connects to a circuit, you do.
Pot lights and recessed lighting
A layout planned for even light, not a grid of holes. Concealed wiring, housings rated for insulated ceilings, dimmers where you want them.
LED conversion
Halogen and fluorescent fixtures replaced with LED. Less heat, less electricity, no flicker.
Chandeliers and hanging fixtures
A heavy fixture needs support rated for its weight. We install the box, the bracing and the fixture, on high and angled ceilings too.
Outdoor and landscape lighting
Entrances, walkways, gardens and facades, on weatherproof circuits with the right protection.
Motion and day sensors
Lights that come on when someone approaches and stay off while the sun is up. Security and convenience on one circuit.
Lighting poles and heat lamps
Driveways, parking areas and terraces. Underground feeds, poles and heat lamps, trenched and wired to code.
Why it matters
Light shapes how a room feels
The same room changes with its light. Cool, even light keeps a kitchen sharp and practical. Warm, layered light turns a living room into somewhere you stay. A stairwell lit properly is safer at night and calmer to walk through. Lighting is not decoration added at the end. It decides how a space gets used.
Getting there is electrical work. How many pot lights, on which circuit, switched from where, dimmed or not. We plan that with you before anything is cut, and we check that the panel has capacity for what you are adding. If it does not, that is a panel upgrade conversation, and we have it with you before quoting.
One caution before anything new goes in. If your current lights flicker or dim, that is usually a loose or failing connection, not a bulb. We treat it as an electrical repair and fix it first. New fixtures on faulty wiring just make the problem prettier. And a fixture that smells hot or shows scorch marks is not a job to schedule: that is an emergency, call right away.
The same rule as all our electrical work in Montreal: planned honestly, installed to code.

Lighting questions
Do I need an electrician to add pot lights?
In Quebec, yes. Electrical work is reserved for licensed contractors, and pot lights mean new wiring: cutting into the ceiling, running cable and connecting to a circuit. Our licence is RBQ 8351-6120-43 and you can verify it on the RBQ registry.
Can you install a chandelier on a high or angled ceiling?
Yes. A heavy fixture needs a ceiling box and support rated for its weight, which a standard box is not. We install the bracing, wire the fixture and test it before the ladders leave.
Is converting to LED worth it?
Usually. LED uses a fraction of the electricity of halogen or incandescent and runs cooler. Where it gets technical is older dimmers and transformers, which do not always work with LED. We sort that out as part of the conversion.
Can my panel handle more lighting?
Lighting is a light load, so most homes can add fixtures without trouble. The honest answer comes from a load check, which we do before quoting. If the panel is at its limit, you hear it before any work starts, with the options laid out.

Hired them to change and reposition several lights. Noam and his apprentice were very professional, punctual and tidy. Very pleased and would highly recommend!
